Contributing to Juris
Juris Illuminae welcomes contributions to the newsletter. We are open to submissions of any sort (even comic strips!), and most issues have a theme which you may be interested in writing about. Juris is published 4-5 times during the academic year. Here is how to be published in Juris if you are not an SLR member.
- Send an email expressing your interest. Don’t worry if you do not have already have an idea for a topic, you may volunteer to write an article on a topic we assign you.
- Send a response to any of our articles via email. Your response may win you a token of appreciation courtesy of our sponsors!
- Send in your article via email. Word limits are generally around 650 words and we reserve the right to edit, reject or return the article to you for further amendments (such as editing it down to fit space etc). Do read our Style Guide for further guidance.
All emails pertaining to Juris should be sent to juris@singaporelawreview.org.
What is most important is that you have something to say, and we are here to help you air your views. Your work need not be perfect- remember, there is still the editing stage for us to help you get your article up to publishable standards. Do not hesitate to take up this chance to see your name in print. We look forward to your contributions!
